Almost every day that I allow myself online (a.k.a. daily), I end up in an argument about my credibility as a historian. We know what the world wants. It is difficult to describe the crisis I have been living through these past several weeks. There have been feelings of being lied to while watching people whom I thought were my supporters fall away. Friends warn me about overreacting.
